Connect Your Calendar

How to connect Google Calendar or Microsoft Calendar for smarter scheduling.

Connecting your calendar lets the assistant see your availability and suggest times that actually work for you.

Without a connected calendar, the assistant suggests times based on general availability. With your calendar connected:

  • Suggestions avoid your existing commitments
  • Busy times are automatically excluded
  • The assistant can see when you’re actually free
  1. Go to your SkipUp workspace settings
  2. Click Calendars in the sidebar
  3. Click Connect Google Calendar
  4. Sign in with your Google account
  5. Grant SkipUp permission to view your calendar

Once connected, your Google Calendar syncs automatically. The assistant will check your availability in real-time.

  1. Go to your SkipUp workspace settings
  2. Click Calendars in the sidebar
  3. Click Connect Microsoft Calendar
  4. Sign in with your Microsoft account
  5. Grant SkipUp permission to view your calendar

If you have multiple calendars (work, personal, shared team calendars), you can control which ones the assistant checks:

  1. Go to Calendars in your settings
  2. Toggle calendars on/off for availability checking
  3. Set your primary calendar (where meetings are created)

The assistant checks all enabled calendars when finding available times but creates events only on your primary calendar.

If you have access to shared calendars (team calendars, room resources), these appear in your calendar list. Enable them if you want the assistant to consider their availability when scheduling.

  • Sync frequency — Calendars sync automatically and stay up to date
  • Toggle sync — You can temporarily disable sync without disconnecting
  • Primary calendar — Auto-detected, but you can change it in settings

To remove a calendar connection:

  1. Go to Calendars in your settings
  2. Find the connected calendar
  3. Click Disconnect

After disconnecting, the assistant will no longer see that calendar’s events when suggesting times.
